Refund and Cancellation Policy
HuntForTomorrow (HFT)
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Version: 1.1
1. The short version
HFT services are customised professional services built individually for each client. Work begins as soon as your engagement starts, and the value we deliver is the research, strategy and writing — not an employment outcome.
You have a 10-day cancellation window. It starts on the day your advance payment is received, and inside it you may cancel and ask for a refund. Because work starts immediately, the refund is not automatically the full amount — it is what you paid, less the value of what has already been delivered and the costs already spent on your engagement, worked out on the published schedule in Section 3.2. The same schedule is used for every client.
After those 10 days, fees are non-refundable. A refund or credit may still be granted case by case, at HFT's sole discretion (Section 5). No client has an automatic entitlement to one after the window, and a discretionary refund granted to one client sets no precedent for another.
Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected by this policy.
2. When work is treated as having begun
Work is treated as having begun on the earliest of:
- your onboarding or discovery session being held;
- your Pre-Discovery Form being processed and your intake being prepared;
- the first draft of any deliverable being started;
- contact sourcing, target research or job-link research being started for you.
What the advance payment covers. Your advance is consideration for the work and resources of the engagement up to and including the lead-generation stage: onboarding, Pre-Discovery processing, information analysis, profile generation, coach review and briefing, resume generation, domain and target-company research, hiring-signal analysis, lead generation and HR/recruiter contact research — together with the third-party tools, data subscriptions, AI/computational resources and manpower those steps consume. These are real, non-recoverable operational costs. Once that advance-funded work has been performed, the advance is not refundable merely because interview calls, recruiter responses or employment did not follow (see Sections 4 and 5.5).
3. Cancellation by you
3.1 The 10-day cancellation window
The window runs for 10 calendar days from the date your advance payment is received — that date is also the day your service period starts.
It does not start on the day you pay the balance, on the day of your onboarding session, or on the day you receive your first deliverable. If we allow you extra days to pay the balance at your request, that concession does not move this window.
Ask in writing — email admin@huntfortomorrow.com, or a message to our official WhatsApp number — within the 10 days. The date of your written request is the date we use, not the date we process it.
The window applies to your first program with us. Renewals, extensions and reinstatements do not carry a fresh window; we will tell you that at the time of that purchase.
3.2 How a refund inside the window is worked out
We do not promise an unconditional full refund where work has already been done for you. What comes back is:
Refund = what you actually paid − the value of what has already been delivered − third-party and non-recoverable costs − any non-refundable component we told you about when you bought
The value of what has been delivered is read off this schedule. It is fixed, published, and applied the same way to every client — the person handling your request does not decide it:
| Part of the service | Share of your fee | Counted as delivered when |
|---|---|---|
| Onboarding, profile audit and strategy session (non-refundable) | 15% | Your onboarding session has been held |
| Resume / CV and LinkedIn optimisation | 25% | Your first approved version has been delivered to you |
| Target company list and lead generation | 20% | Your first approved target or lead set is on your portal |
| Outreach, applications and job links | 30% | Pro-rated by the days elapsed in your service period |
| Interview support and follow-through | 10% | Pro-rated by the days elapsed in your service period |
Third-party and non-recoverable costs — payment-gateway charges, and paid data or enrichment credits already spent on your engagement — are deducted in addition, at actuals.
If you have paid only an advance, the calculation runs on the amount you actually paid, not on the full package price.
We will show you the calculation line by line before the refund is released.
3.3 If work has not begun at all
If you cancel before any of the events in Section 2 has occurred, you get back everything you paid, less any non-recoverable payment-gateway charges. In practice this is a short period, because work starts as soon as your engagement does.
3.4 After the 10-day window
Fees for work already started or delivered are non-refundable. You may still cancel the rest of the engagement; whether any part of the unused balance is refunded or converted to credit is at HFT's sole discretion under Section 5.
3.5 Milestone packages
Where your package is milestone-based, a completed milestone is non-refundable. Amounts paid against a milestone that has not been started are considered for refund or credit under Section 5.
4. Situations in which no refund is given
This Section applies after the 10-day window in Section 3.1. Inside the window, Section 3.2 governs whatever the reason for cancelling.
For clarity, a refund will not be given because:
- You did not get a job, an interview, an offer, or the salary you wanted. We do not guarantee any of these, and no fee is charged for an employment outcome. See the Terms and Conditions, Section 19.
- You supplied information that was false, exaggerated or incomplete, and this affected your candidacy or was discovered in background verification.
- You instructed us to build something against the Career Coach's advice, and the result did not perform.
- You chose to pursue a salary or level target the Career Coach recorded as beyond market standards for your profile, and it did not materialise. The engagement's resources are consumed in running that search regardless of the target's feasibility; the fee pays for that work, not the outcome. A far-fetched target failing is the expected result the Coach warned you about, not a defect in the service. See Terms and Conditions, Sections 9.5 and 19.
- You materially modified a deliverable and then used it for applications or outreach.
- You modified the lead or contact list we selected for outreach on your behalf — removing, replacing or adding contacts against our ranking — and the modified list under-performed. Selection and ranking of leads is our professional work; a client-modified list's results are not guaranteed. See Terms and Conditions, Section 11.
- You imposed restrictive search constraints — a niche industry or domain, a specific geography, a remote-only requirement, or similar — which the Career Coach recorded as materially narrowing the realistic pool of roles and responses, and the constrained search produced few replies, interviews or offers. Full effort was made within your constraints; the fee pays for that work. Broadening the criteria afterwards is new work that duplicates resources already consumed, and neither the constrained search's failure nor the cost of broadening it is refundable. See Terms and Conditions, Section 9.6.
- You applied or conducted outreach independently, using documents or messages we did not produce or approve.
- You wanted a graphically designed ("designer") resume and we declined. Designer resumes are not part of the service; see Terms and Conditions, Section 10.
- Our team assisted with or drafted your outreach template at your request — including because you were busy or unable to prepare it — and the outreach did not generate a response or interview. Assistance in drafting is not a guarantee of outcome. See Terms and Conditions, Section 11.
- You sent feedback or instructions over WhatsApp and they were not incorporated. Feedback of record must go through the portal or email; see Terms and Conditions, Section 13.
- You did not respond, did not supply information, or did not attend sessions, and the engagement stalled or its validity period expired.
- A third party, affiliate or promoter told you something we did not confirm in writing — including any refund, guarantee or salary-hike promise. Only written commitments from HFT bind HFT.
- You received responses to the outreach but could not convert them — into a conversation, an interview, or an offer. Once a recruiter or employer replies, the conversation is yours to conduct (Terms and Conditions, Section 6); its outcome is not a measure of our service.
- You received interest or an offer discussion and it ended because you sought compensation beyond market standards. A rejection that results from your own ask exceeding what the market pays for your profile is not a service failure. See Terms and Conditions, Sections 9.5 and 19.
- You did not use, or did not want to use, the client portal where your work was delivered. Everything we produce is designed to be opened, read and approved on an ordinary smartphone, and a deliverable counts as delivered once it is on your portal and you have been notified. A preference for receiving everything over chat instead is not a service failure. (If you have a genuine accessibility need or a technical barrier you cannot resolve, tell us — we will arrange an alternative at no cost.)
- Your service was withdrawn because a payment was not made (Terms and Conditions, Section 15.7). That is not a refund event; what you have already paid is set against the work already delivered, using the same schedule in Section 3.2.
- The facts you gave us when you bought differed from the facts at onboarding, or you changed your brief afterwards, and we re-priced, shortened or ended the engagement as a result (Terms and Conditions, Sections 8.7 and 15.7).
- You changed your mind, took a role through another route, or decided to stop searching.
5. Discretionary refunds and credits
5.1 We do consider refunds and credits where the circumstances genuinely warrant it — for example, where we were unable to deliver what you paid for, where a deliverable fell materially short of the agreed scope and we could not put it right, or where personal circumstances make continuing impossible.
5.2 Every such request is assessed individually against: what has already been delivered, the direct costs already incurred on your engagement (research, data and outreach tooling costs are real and non-recoverable), and the stage you have reached.
5.3 The decision is HFT's alone and is final. Where a request is declined, we will tell you why.
5.4 Where we grant relief, it may take the form of a partial refund, service credit, additional revisions, or a re-work at no charge — whichever best resolves the issue.
5.5 The only outcome-related ground we will consider. Where your request is based on the outcome of the search itself, the only situation we will consider is that the outreach conducted by HFT on your behalf — over email and LinkedIn — produced no revert at all from the recruiters and HR contacts approached: no reply, no callback, no expression of interest of any kind. Any request on this ground must be supported by the specific records: the outreach conducted, the period covered, and the absence of any response, produced at the time of the request. A request that cannot produce these records will not be considered on this ground. If any response was received — even one that did not lead to an interview or an offer — this ground is not available, and Section 4 applies. Assessment under Sections 5.2 and 5.3 applies to every such request.
6. How to request a refund
Send the following to admin@huntfortomorrow.com, with "Refund request" in the subject line:
- Your registered name and email
- Payment reference and date
- The package or service concerned
- What you are asking for, and why
- If your request is outcome-related (Section 5.5): the specific supporting records — the outreach concerned and the absence of any revert over email and LinkedIn
We will acknowledge within 48 hours and give you a decision within 7 working days. Where a refund is approved, it is processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days of approval; your bank or card issuer may take additional time to credit it.
7. Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows for sessions
7.1 Please reschedule at least 24 hours before a booked session, using the booking link in your portal.
7.2 A session missed without notice, or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, is treated as delivered and is forfeited. We will normally allow one exception per engagement for a genuine emergency.
7.3 Not having completed your homework or forms is not a ground for cancelling a session at short notice — tell us and we will use the time differently.
7.4 If we need to reschedule, we will offer you an alternative slot at no cost to you.
8. Service delivery and turnaround
8.1 Deliverables are provided digitally through the client portal and by email. There is no physical shipment.
8.2 Indicative turnarounds are communicated at onboarding; they depend on your package and on the completeness of your inputs.
8.3 Turnaround depends on your inputs arriving. Delays caused by missing information, unanswered questions or pending approvals extend the timeline and are not a service failure.
8.4 Your service period starts on the date your advance payment is received and runs for the period stated in your Client Service Agreement or invoice. Unused sessions or deliverables expire at the end of that period and are not refundable or transferable. Periods during which the engagement was paused or withdrawn for non-payment, or paused for your non-response, continue to count towards the validity period.
9. Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer without first raising it with us, we may suspend your engagement while the dispute is resolved. Please contact us first — most issues are resolved faster directly.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with a refund decision, escalate to our Grievance Officer:
- Name: The Grievance Officer, HuntForTomorrow (HFT)
- Email: admin@huntfortomorrow.com
- Acknowledgement within 48 hours; resolution within one month.
You retain your right to approach a Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
